Patrick Dasse, grande conoscitore ed esperto dell'Alfa Romeo, dopo avere trattato la storia della casa di Arese ed alcuni dei suoi modelli stradali e sportivi più significativi per il suo ottavo volume ha deciso di scrivere insieme a Martin Übelher sul primo prototipo dell'Autodelta: la 33 del 1967.
La 33 è il prototipo con la quale l'ingegnere Carlo Chiti, dopo avere realizzato granturismo vincenti ha accettato nel campionato mondiale la sfida con Porsche, Ferrari e Ford, una sfida iniziata nel 1967 e che ha visto la 33 vincere il suo primo campionato mondiale marche nella classe 3 litri dopo appena 4 anni.
Il volume è ricchissimo di foto a colori (114) ed in bianco/nero (224) completo nella storia dell'evoluzione tecnica e delle tante gare in pista ed in salita disputata dalla 33 2 litri.
Grazie al prezioso aiuto del dott. Marco Fazio è stato possibile trovare i documenti conservati nell'archivio Alfa Romeo nel quale erano conservati tutti i resoconti dettagliati dell'attività sportiva dell'Autodelta.
Con tali e tanti documenti a disposizione gli autori sono stati in grado di costruire la storia completa, senza alcun dubbio, di tutte le 33 che hanno partecipato a gare nel 1967 .

The 33 is the prototype with which the engineer Carlo Chiti, after making GT winning has accepted in the world championship the challenge with Porsche, Ferrari and Ford, a challenge started in 1967 and saw the 33 win his first world championship 3 liter after just 4 years.
The book is full of color photos (114) and black / white (224) complete in the history of technical evolution and the many races on the track and hillclimbs disputed by 33 2 liters.
Thanks to the precious help of dr. Marco Fazio was able to find the documents kept in the Alfa Romeo archive in which all the detailed reports of Autodelta's sports activities were kept.
With these and many documents available, the authors were able to build the complete story, without any doubt, of all the 33 who participated in competitions in 1967.
